Judging Criteria


All Hackathon participants are required to submit the following bundle as part of the hackathon judging:

  1. Source Code (.zip or .tar only)
  2. Presentation (.ppt or .pdf preferred)
  3. Demo Video (.mov or .mp3 preferred)

This bundle will be evaluated by our judges, and based on scoring, the top 10 groups will advance into the final round of the hackathon.

This involves a zoom presentation of 10-15mins per team where they'll present their ideas and submission to the Grab tech leadership for evaluation. From this final round, we will determine the winners of Grab Hack for Good 2022.

  1. Business Feasibility (30%) Does the proposed idea have real-world business potential?

  2. Technical Feasibility (30%) How feasible or practical is the proposed architecture and technical approach to Grab’s existing environment and API? 5% of the score will be reserved for teams that use Grab Api

  3. Approach (20%) Has the proposed idea been clearly thought out from start to finish?

  4. Social Impact (20%) How does this benefit Grab consumers and the larger communities?
